Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Rice 1 glass


  • Moong Dhulli dal 1 glass


  • Whole red chillies 2


  • Ginger 2inch pc


  • Bayleaf 4 leaf


  • whole cloves 2


  • Cinnamom 1 stick


  • Brown elachi 1


  • Green elachi 2


  • Salt 2 tsp


  • Sugar 2 tsp


  • Turmeric 2 pinch


  • Raisin 2tbsp


  • water 2 glass


  • Oil 2tbsp

Directions

  • Take a marble grinder(sil batta) put red chilli and ginger grind with some water and make a smooth paste.
  • Take a wok add dal(without wash) dry roasted in golden color.
  • Take a rice and dal mix clean inmuslin cloth (dont wash dal and rice) then add chilli paste and rub in your hands.
  • Take a raisin soak in water.
  • Take a heavy bottom vessel add oil,then oil heat add bayleaf,cloves,cinnamon,brown elachi and green elachi saute.
  • Then add rice saute 2 minutes then add salt,turmeric and water.
  • Then covered with lid cook in 10 minites .
  • After 10 minutes then add raisin and sugar mix.
  • Then cooked.
  • Serve hot 2 bhuja khichdi(bengali dish).
