Take a marble grinder(sil batta) put red chilli and ginger grind with some water and make a smooth paste.
Take a wok add dal(without wash) dry roasted in golden color.
Take a rice and dal mix clean inmuslin cloth (dont wash dal and rice) then add chilli paste and rub in your hands.
Take a raisin soak in water.
Take a heavy bottom vessel add oil,then oil heat add bayleaf,cloves,cinnamon,brown elachi and green elachi saute.
Then add rice saute 2 minutes then add salt,turmeric and water.
Then covered with lid cook in 10 minites .
After 10 minutes then add raisin and sugar mix.
Then cooked.
Serve hot 2 bhuja khichdi(bengali dish).
